This Friday, the Engineering Problems students will compete in the 18th annual battle of the bridges competition put on at the Putnam Museum by the Quad Cities Engineering and Science Council. Students will work in teams to construct a bridge that will have the greatest efficiency. Bettendorf will have 7 teams competing against other high schools in the area. The Battle of the Bridges contest is the first of 3 contests that students will compete in. The contest will start at 10:30 and students will have 3 hours to complete their bridges. After that, they will inspect and test bridges to see their efficiency. The top 3 teams will earn awards along with the most innovative design. Also, students and schools earn points toward the overall top students and schools for all three contests. Spectators are welcome.


Preschool - 5th grade students and parents had a fantastic evening at AAC Family Night, learning more about their students' augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to enhance communication at home! Supporting communication and connection! #BettPride
