National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration established by the U.S. Department of Labor. Employers, industry associations, labor organizations, community-based organizations, workforce partners, education providers, and government leaders celebrate high-quality, inclusive, in-demand career pathway opportunities through registered apprenticeships.

  • The average starting wage after completing a registered apprenticeship program is $80,000.
  • About 90% of apprentices retain employment after completing an apprenticeship program.
  • Workers who complete registered apprenticeship programs earn an average of $300,000 more over their careers than peers who do not.
