BHS Wins 2nd Place in Student Hunger Drive

Nov 14, 2022

Thank you to all who helped with this year's Student Hunger Drive collection! BHS Student Council collected 64,636 lbs of food, which provides 192,728 meals directly back into our community. This amount could feed a family of 4 (3 meals per day, every day) for 44 years. That is 50,000 more meals this year than StuCo raised in 2021. This was a record-breaking year for the QC student Hunger Drive with BHS taking 2nd place in the A Division of the QC Student Hunger Drive.

Shout out to the Bett elementary schools for raising about $2,000 and roughly 2,000 pounds of food. That translates to 16,500 meals served to families in need. #BETTerTogether
