The Iowa Legislature passed a bill Thursday evening requiring Iowa schools to offer parents the option to choose in-person learning five days per week. Thank you to all of our families who responded to last week's Intent to Return Survey informing the District of your child(ren)'s learning model preference. For families who did not respond, school site staff have been reaching out to verify your learning model preference.
Beginning February 16th, BCSD will shift from the hybrid learning model to 100% in-person learning. The 100% online learning model will continue to be available to students currently in the program, and any new students who selected this as their preferred learning model for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year in last week's survey.
In an effort to prepare classrooms and cafeterias for the increase in students returning to campuses . . .
Friday, February 12th will be an asynchronous learning day for all students and buildings will be closed.
Students will access their assignments through the CANVAS learning platform on this day. All students are expected to complete all assigned work.
Thank you for your continued collaboration and understanding. It is a privilege and honor to teach your child(ren).
