Bettendorf Community School District will be providing free curbside meals to students who are 18 and younger. School breakfast and lunches will be available for pickup at Bettendorf Middle School and Neil Armstrong from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on November 23, 24, 30, December 1 – 4, and December 7 - 9.
Each meal will contain lunch for the current day, as well as breakfast for the following morning, with the exception of November 24. On November 24, we will be providing 3 breakfasts and lunches during meal pickup times. The lunches will be for November 24, 25, and 27, and the breakfasts will be for November 25, 27, and 30.
Since all food is “grab and go,” the plan to feed students allows parents to line up in their vehicle in the school parking lot. Please stagger arrival times to avoid congestion. A staff member will come to you and ask the number of meals you are requesting. They will deliver the meals to you in your vehicle. Please do not exit your vehicle.
No food will be consumed on-site.
If you would like your child(ren) to receive meals but do not have a form of transportation, please contact Miryam Andrews-Ohlman, Outreach Coordinator, at (563) 468-3715.
If your child has a food allergy and needs a meal accommodation, please contact Kayla Leu at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 24 hours prior to pick up.
Food is being stored and prepared following our local Health Department and Federal USDA guidelines and regulations. All foods are intended to be consumed immediately or refrigerated within 2 hours of pickup. Refrigerated items should be discarded within 3 days (with the exception of juice and milk).
If you have any questions, please contact Kayla Leu, Director of Nutrition Services, at email@example.com.
