The Bettendorf Board of Education is seeking candidates to fill a board vacancy from September 17 through November 18. Due to Director Stacey Struck’s recent move from the district, the Bettendorf Board of Education is seeking an interim director to fill the board position until the new board is appointed in November.
Interested community members are invited to fill out an online application to be considered for the vacancy - bit.ly/BCSD-InterimBoardApplication. Applicants must live in the Bettendorf Community School District, be 18 years old, be a U.S. resident, and cannot have any felony convictions. Currently scheduled board meeting dates during the interim include: Oct. 7, Oct. 21, Nov. 5, and Nov. 18.

Eligible electors of the Bettendorf School district have the right to file a petition requiring that this vacancy be filled by special election.
