Serving on a school board is a challenging job that requires leadership, vision and dedication. A school board member is entrusted with one of the most important responsibilities that can be assigned to a citizen: ensuring that Iowa schools help students reach high levels of educational achievement.

Four positions in the seven-member Bettendorf Board of Education will be up for election this November.

Bettendorf Board of Education Directors completing current 4-year terms this year: Paul Castro (18 years of service), Michael Pyevich (4 years of service), and Gordon Staley (4 years of service). The position of Stacey Struck (4 years of service) is being completed by Steve Geifman.
