Free Bus Transportation

Bettendorf Community School District adheres to the State of Iowa statutory busing limits. Elementary and middle school students residing more than 2 miles from school, and high school students living more than 3 miles from Bettendorf High School will have available FREE bus transportation provided by the school district. For students within the limits, daily transportation to and from school will also be available at designated stops. Transportation is also provided for all administrative transferred students.

Paid Bus Transportation

For students within the district boundaries, daily transportation to and from school will also be available at designated stops. One-way transportation is available. Fees may be paid at registration.

Bus Passes

Passes will be issued to all students requesting bus transportation who reside within the busing limits. Students will be required to show their bus passes to the driver each time they ride the bus.

Security

Cameras have been installed on district buses to monitor student behavior. The cameras operate randomly at the discretion of the bus driver.

Operations

The Bettendorf Community School District operations department is responsible for keeping the district’s schools and other facilities in top condition. We take great pride in the work our maintenance and custodial teams do. They work very hard to keep the grounds and buildings looking their best.
