On April 15, the Bettendorf Board of Education approved the appointment of Brietta Collier to the position of Director of Finance & Business Services for the Bettendorf Community School District. She will officially start with the district on June 4.
“We are excited to have Brietta join our administrative team,” said Mike Raso, Superintendent. “The finance director is a very important leadership position in the school district. Brietta comes to Bettendorf with extensive knowledge of school finance, budgeting processes, and a strong understanding of the requirements of the position.”
Collier holds a degree in business with a specialization in finance from Texas Luther University as well as a MBA from West Texan A&M University. She is a graduate of Iowa State University Business
Management Academy and has a School Business Official (SBO) license. She is also a member of Iowa School Finance Information Services and lives in Bettendorf.
Collier is coming to Bettendorf schools from a position as Business Manager with West Liberty Schools. She also has experience as a district accountant in both the Muscatine and Davenport school districts and as an international staff accountant at Genesis Systems Group, Davenport.
