 The Bettendorf Community Schools offer a well-balanced, nutritious, and attractive food service to the students each day. It is well known that students perform better and feel better if good nutrition and consistent eating patterns are a routine part of their day. School Food Service plays an important role in the educational curriculum as it sets a good example for healthy eating habits and
introduces new foods. School breakfast and lunch provides 1/3 of a student's daily nutritional requirements with each meal. It allows for broad food preferences and cultural, ethnic and religious food practices.

Online Management of Food Service Accounts
The Bettendorf Community School District Food Service has an online management system to streamline operations for staff and offer greater conveniences for parents. Parents and guardians will be able to establish food service accounts for their students. In the online accounts parents can deposit money as well as track food purchase and account balances. In fact, guardians will have Internet access to their students' meal selections in real time as well as establish daily spending limits.
The new service is available through the Parent Portal.

If we have a snow day, the snow day menu will be served the following day for the balance of the week.
